The cast has been practicing and are almost ready for performances!!
Students will be taking a morning walking field trip on November 20 or 21 to watch one of the casts perform during the school day at Spotlight Performing Arts Center. There is a permission form for guardians to complete on myDSD in order for students to go on the field trip. If the form is not completed, those students will stay at the school with another class.
Other performances for families and community members will be in the evening of November 21, 22, and 23. Tickets are required. They are available for purchase on Spotlight's website: Spotlight Performing Arts Center Presents: The Little Mermaid Jr.

Students in third through sixth grade have the opportunity to be in the school musical, Disney's The Little Mermaid Jr. There will be a parent meeting at Taylor Elementary in the gym on September 11 at 3:45 pm. Auditions, rehearsals, and performances will be at Spotlight Performing Arts Center (54 East Pages Lane).
Register now with Spotlight Performing Arts: https://sct.regfox.com/taylor-little-mermaid. Auditions will be held on September 20. A link for audition sign-ups will be sent after you register. Rehearsals begin on October 7 and will be M/T/Th/F from 7:30-8:40 am. Performances will be November 20-23.
